- Marriage and Divorce in Puerto Rico: You can apply for this Certificate of Divorce directly.
- Marriage outside Puerto Rico and divorce in Puerto Rico: You must upload a copy of your marriage certificate when placing your order, as well as a copy of your divorce decree (if you have one).
- ⚠️ Marriage in Puerto Rico and divorce outside of Puerto Rico: You must first obtain an exequatur to have the foreign divorce decree recognized in Puerto Rico.
If you do not remember the details of the divorce
🗓️ Don't rush. In most cases, we can locate the records with the information you provide when placing your order.

In his case, having married outside of PR but divorced in PR, without having the exact date of the divorce, it did not appear in the system. This can happen on exceptional occasions and is beyond our control as we rely on government agencies to find the information.
